Fall 2017 Cohort Published for July 1, 2024

The Fall 2017 cohort only includes first time, degree seeking, full-time students. Students enrolled in the Fall quarter who attended a postsecondary institution for the first time in the prior summer term are included (thus Summer 2017 first time starts who were registered for Fall 2017 are included in the cohort). Since only first-time students may be included, transfer students, students in Professional Designation programs, and new bachelor鈥檚/master鈥檚 program students may not be included in the cohort.

Students are allowed 150% of the normal time necessary to complete all requirements for a degree. Since the normal time for an associate degree is two years/bachelor鈥檚 four years, students must graduate within three years (associate)/six years (bachelor鈥檚) to be included. Therefore, the Fall 2017 cohort had until June 2020 to graduate associate and June 2023 to graduate bachelors.

During this time period some students graduated from both an associate and a bachelor鈥檚 program. These students are to be reported only once, as a bachelor graduate.
